Warehouse Operations Manager @ Fairshare.

Within the region of £25,000 (to be negotiated) per annum plus 5% pension contribution Working with one of the most admired charities in the UK FareShare South West is a franchise of the national charity FareShare; we work with the food industry to receive fit for purpose food that would otherwise be wasted (due to reasons such as bar code not working, short date, package printing error, etc). We make this food available to over 150 organisations that work with vulnerable people. We would not operate without the dedication of our volunteers. Currently we work with over 70 volunteers throughout the week, and over half of these have been or are vulnerable in one way or another. Alongside this we offer an in-depth volunteer programme. The Warehouse Operations Manager will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and manage 3 members of staff to develop and implement the vision, ambitions and growth of FareShare South West. Essential requirements for the post include strong leadership in a multi-layered organisation, warehouse management and distribution experience, and the ability to develop, initiate and maintain systems and procedures. How to apply: access our website for a job pack and application form: To discuss further please call Jacqui on 0117 9542220, or email: Closing date: 22/10/2014
